You need more than just straight stairs to install a straight stairlift. There must also be enough room to be able to park the seat. This is often possible directly under or at the top of the stairs. But, it can be more pleasant or safer if a curved seat can be parked in another spot. This won’t matter if your stairs lead up to a door, we will then be able to work with a retractable or sliding rail to ensure the stairlift stays straight.

If you want to buy a straight stairlift, you have the option of having a new stairlift custom-made or a second-hand model installed. The biggest advantage of choosing a second-hand model is that it doesn’t need to be custom-built for you. A straight stairlift is easy to modify – only the inclination angle and the length of the stairs need to be considered. Modifications in our workshop or at your home are also completed in no time. In general, a used stairlift is more affordable than a new one.
